Okay, so this year’s E3 was a fantastic event completely filled
to the brim with exciting new games, and Prey 2 was no exception to this. Now
before I go any further I will say that I found the trailer for Prey 2 to be
very entertaining, in fact it even made me start to look forward to the release
of it. But that’s when I stopped and remembered that this is supposed to be PREY
2, and I don’t know about any of you out there but I was unable to clearly see
anything in this overly cinematic experience that could possibly link back to
the original game. In fact the only thing I could think of while watching the
trailer was “Mass Effect, Mass Effect, Mass Effect”, because that’s what it looked like. People may disagree but this is of course just my opinion but what I can be certain of is that no one would think that this so called sequel looks anything like the previous game.
I have no doubt in my mind that Prey 2 will be a fantastic
game, but it would appear that the developers have done away with almost
everything that made Prey, well Prey. But in truth this probably isn’t a bad
thing.
Anyway, keep an eye on the site for all the recent news to
do with this title and in the meantime let’s keep waiting for Gears 3.
